Lindsey Gerard: Founder & Head Coach Laurel Running Labs

With three decades of experience in competitive athletics, Lindsey is a passionate running coach dedicated to helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals. A former competitive figure skater turned marathoner, she understands the discipline, structure, and mindset it takes to balance demanding training with real life.

Lindsey is a Six Star World Marathon Major finisher, having completed all six Abbott World Majors—Boston, Chicago, New York, London, Berlin, and Tokyo. She is also an eight-time Boston Marathon qualifier and continues to set personal bests into her 40s, proving that with the right process and training, progress has no age limit.

In 2025, Lindsey placed in the top 4% of all female runners at the London Marathon and the top 3% of all females at the New York City Marathon, two of the largest marathons in history. She also finished in the top 20 globally for the 40–44 age group in both the spring and fall 2025 Abbott Global Marathon Challenge, earning a spot in the 2026 and 2027 Abbott Age Group World Championships.

Lindsey specializes in coaching hardworking athletes who are dedicated to improving their performance while navigating life’s demands. Her coaching approach emphasizes smart, sustainable training built on strength, adaptability, and mental resilience.

She also works extensively with runners returning from injury, particularly those managing hip and biomechanical issues, designing programs that rebuild strength and confidence while maintaining performance goals.

Beyond coaching, Lindsey is a storyteller and content creator, sharing her journey with a global audience. Her running insights and experiences have garnered more than 10 million views worldwide, inspiring others to chase their own finish lines.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Lindsey combines her love for running with her mission to help others discover what they’re capable of—one training block at a time.
